A blog by a guy who doesn't know much about sailing or sailboats (but who has owned and sailed one or two), and has no skill or capacity for woodworking or fiberglassing, no mechanical aptitude and no sense of priorities, refitting an old 1977 C&C Mark I (currently "Echo") from stern to stem. If I finish, she'll be known as "Lazy YY," after my granddad's registered cattle brand.
This blog, if successful, will track of what I do and especially the mistakes I make along the way (mostly that), what works, what doesn't, and the occasional rumination on sailing and completely unrelated topics.
